DESCRIPTION:Course Description:\n\n\n\nThis 2-day Course is for people who are already working in the guiding world\, but lack an official Certification. However\, people who want to get started in the guiding world are also welcome. During these 2 days we will learn about different kinds of bikes\, their purposes\, bike riding\, bike mechanics and bike guiding. We will also see different aspect of becoming a safe and competent profesional guide. We will also deal with organization of Biking activities\, Legal Regulations\, Safety and – of course – leadership. Though the time is limited\, we will also put especial emphasis on improving riding tecniches\, and give tips and suggestions on ‘how to ride with groups safely’.    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is The Course About:\n\n\n\nI. Within 2 days\, May 23rd and 24th 2026\, people joining this course will be immersed in the bike guiding world. \n\n\n\nThis means that we will cover most important aspect of the bike-worl and bike guiding as a job. Group will: \n\n\n\n\nLearn more about different types of bikes\, parts and mechanics.\n\n\n\nEmphasize the taking care of gear and constant maintenance of bikes.\n\n\n\nDevelop guiding skills: patience\, constant group support and in-field decision making\n\n\n\nLearn to communicate with people well: Give directions\, get feed-back and information reinforcement.\n\n\n\nImprove personal riding techniques.\n\n\n\nLearn basic mechanics to keep bikes going during an activity and maybe explore into advanced mechanics.\n\n\n\nPlan safe activities depending of the different goups\, their goals and people’s personal riding skills.\n\n\n\nEvaluate risk involved in any outdoor activity: traffic\, terrain\, group riding levels and weather. \n\n\n\nHelp develop community awareness of the potential of tourism in the country.\n\n\n\n\nCOST of Course: USD $ 250\,oo per person.
